The actor took a more eco-friendly route when he got stuck in the rains yesterday Good friends Aamir Khan and Salman Khan think alike, it seems. Salman has been known to hop into an autorickshaw or take out his bicycle to beat traffic jams in the city. Aamir went a step further yesterday (June 29), when his car got stuck in a jam during a downpour. Aamir was on his way from his Pali Hill home to Yash Raj Studios in Andheri for a shoot when he got stuck in slow moving traffic near Mahim. Impatient, he stepped out and decided to continue on foot! Aamir jogged a considerable stretch in the rain,dressed simply in a pair of shorts, purple T-shirt and a cap. His two bodyguards followed him, holding an umbrella over his head. Looks like all those extra exercises he’s been doing for Dhoom:3 have paid off! We just hope he didn’t catch a cold in the process.     The promos of Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyamev Jayate seem to be talking about the brave Lauding and felicitating the brave and drawing inspiration from them is not new for actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan. He has been doing that for a news channel for a few years now. But it seems like Aamir has been truly ‘inspired’ and included some of these ‘real heroes’ on his TV show, Satyamev Jayate . Going by the promos of the next episode, we have a hunch it’s gonna be about special people who are leading their lives in a courageous way. Or about men and women who have done something brave to make someone’s life better (maybe Bravery Award winners?). Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan, whose debut TV show commenced today is pretty excited and nervous about the same. With Aamir’s arrival into the world of small screen, speculations were rife that other Bollywood biggies were being roped in by rival channels to beat the star’s show. Reportedly, Salman was offered a mammoth fee to host a TV show that would be pitted against Aamir’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’. But the ‘Dabangg’ superstar chose friend Aamir over the tempting fee and declined the lucrative offer. Aamir too had recently expressed his equation with Salman. Talking to DNA, Aamir said, “Salman is a very dear friend, and we do catch up, but not to discuss people. Nor are we a bunch of schoolers to team up against anyone. hot!!!!!!! Every year, Aamir Khan makes sure he takes a holiday on his birthday (March 14) and relaxes at home with family. This year, however, with his new TV show in the offing, he will be at work. His birthdays are usually spent celebrating at home with his mom, sisters and kids. For the first time in his career, however, he has mentally prepared everyone at home that he would be working this birthday. Aamir's show is quiet demanding and he is completely involved and doesn't want to lose focus. While his team is trying not to shoot on that day and shoot one day before and after; he would have to work on his birthday as rehearsals and prep work still need to happen. On the other hand, Aamir Khan has told his team not to be under any pressure and has even given them a go-ahead to shoot on March 14.

Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that Dhoom 3 is a success. He's taking pains to make sure his character - an extremely fit and agile man - looks the part. However, his enthusiasm and dedication, has delayed the project. The unit was supposed to go on an outdoor schedule to New York in 2012, but now, it has been pushed back to early 2013. Apparently, Aamir wants to take more time to work on his physique. A source reveals, "He wants to make sure he looks his best and is spending extra time to get in shape. As a result, he has asked the production house to push back the US schedule by a few months."
