Rockstar:Ranbir Kapoor’s daring act in the film, Rahman’s over the top music and Imtiaaz Ali’s different way of story telling make it the standout film of the year. In this hero-oriented film, Debutante heroine Nargis Fakhri also made her presence felt. Anil Mehta's cinematography was exceptional, where he shot things from the beauty of Kashmir to the Heritage of Prague.   Singham:Ajay Devgn’s action avatar, which was seen after so many years, did make its presence felt to the audiences. Don 2 released on December 23,2011 has collected around Rs 48.39 cr nett in its 3-day opening weekend in all the 3 languages in which it released in India [Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions].  The breakup for the 3 days is as follows:-  Friday 15.3 cr,  Saturday 15.09 cr,  Sunday 18 cr. The business fell marginally on Saturday, but picked up on Sunday because of the Christmas holiday. While the film has fared exceptionally well at multiplexes, the business at single screens and B & C centres is way below the mark. But the Public reports are all good and the business may cross the 100 cr. mark of the first week business is around 70 cr. mark. But if the 1st week Business is around 65 cr. then the lifetime business would be just around 97-98 cr.

It is the story of a powerful sharp-minded criminal Don. There are a few characters from the previous film whereas a few new characters have been introduced in this film. Farhan Akhtar is back as a director after a long gap of 5 years and seriously speaking he hasn’t taken even a single step wrong but has established himself as a brilliant storyteller with this film. He has also done the scripting and dialogues of the film. The film starts of from the last dialogue of the previous film and it even has some similarities with the previous film....

When it comes to super hero films, India doesn't have many of them to it's credit. SRK has gone all out to make a descent attempt to make one. But sometimes things don't go as expected and this happens in Ra.One. Film is based in the backdrop of a game called 'Ra.One'. The film starts up slowly showing the father-son relationship and then it moves to it's plot of the game where the Villain is more powerful than the hero. Then a few things occur due to which the villain comes out of the game. Then it's the battle of Good vs. Evil. At the end of the first half, it seems that the film will have pace in the second half but the second half also lacks pace which was expected. Director Anubhav Sinha has done a fine job but one thing was not made clear that how can someone come out of a game.
