IIFA Rocks: Ranbir Kapoor imitates the Kapoor ‘khandaan’!
The Rockstar actor mimicked cousin Kareena, dad Rishi, grandpa Raj and great-grandpa Prithviraj Kapoor at IIFA
Actor Ranbir Kapoor was in for a surprise when hosts of IIFA Rocks, Ayushmann Khurrana and Chitrangda Singh, asked him to imitate his family members, including his actor cousin Kareena Kapoor. Like a sport he didn’t shy away from succumbing to the demand, despite his father Rishi Kapoor sitting in the first row. “Tum log muzhe pitwaoge (I’ll be bashed for this),” said Ranbir reacting on the request.
Ranbir mimicked his great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor by saying one of his dialogues from the classic film Mughal-e-Azam – “Salim! Anarkali ko deewar mein chunwa do“. He sang from his grandfather Raj Kapoor’s film Kisiki muskurahato pe ho... and danced like father Rishi Kapoor on Paisa yeh paisa.
However, the audiences were in splits as he imitated Kareena in her song Bebo main bebo!
