Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor share screen space in Nikhil Advani’s next?

Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Shabana Azmi will come together for Advani’s next film. But that leaves space for three more leads

Woman power rules for producer-director Nikhil Advani and his forthcoming movie. And we say this ‘coz the project in question had not one or two, but seven female actors in the lead. Whoa! Impressive, no? But so far only four out of the seven actors have been finalised by the maker and they are Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Shabana Azmi. “I am in Boston currently and will be in Mumbai after a week. I have already spoken to the actresses. Once I am back, I will finalise the rest of the names,” Advani revealed in an interview.
But if you think that juggling these ladies is all that Nikhil will do in the near future, you’re mistaken. Advani has another movie, this time an action thriller that will probably star Irrfan Khan, Huma Quereshi and Arjun Rampal, marked on his list of to-dos. Phew!
But as far as the woman-power deal is concerned, we wonder who else might make it to the cast. Till now the mature actors have filled the first four slots, so can we safely assume that a couple of the new generation hotties will fill the remaining three? And if that is so, do gals like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor stand a chance too?
We don’t know, not yet. But we can’t help wishing for the impossible, hoping that Bebo and Piggy Chops make it to the list. After all it’s been a really long time since we saw these two share screen space, no? Wink, wink.
